Family Outing
The final episode of the season finale was what everyone was waiting to watch.
In the beginning, Kate took the kids to paint on canvas. They used several brushes including their hands, forks, sponge-like things, and wadded up napkins. Kate says that she will be hanging these pieces of art around the house.
Next, Kate took everyone to Please Touch Museum, a museum where the kids learn by touching things. They flew airplanes, ran on a piano, went to the "grocery" store, and played in the water.
During all of this time Jon said he was at his mother's house helping her out because she had recently broken her foot.
The last few minutes of the finale, Jon and Kate discussed their struggles since the start of the show. The commercial that aired about the finale made it sound like their marriage was crashing, however, Jon and Kate talked about how the show has changed their lives and that they don't have privacy. Jon said, "I'm not just Jon. I'm Jon and Kate plus 8." Kate is extremely happy with what life has brought her whereas Jon is trying to find his place in the world. They plan on coming back for a new season.
During the last minute, Jon and Kate signed their set and wrote different messages on it. Kate wrote, "Adios Season 4!" Next season they will have a new set.
